The Erasmus+ Information Day in Turkmenistan was held on-line on January 19, 2022. The event was jointly organised by the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Higher Education of Turkmenistan and the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan. In the welcoming speech, Renata Wrobel, the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, said: “The global pandemic showed that education has no boundaries. For several years, we have been faced with a situation where many areas of human activity have been transferred to a virtual system, and education has been doing this task better than many other areas.
EU doors are always open to students and young specialists. In our vision, graduates of our programs, including Erasmus+, will find a worthy application of their knowledge in their homeland and make significant contributions to the development of their countries.” A. Chorekliyeva, the Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office, informed the audience with the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme making special emphasis on four main components of the Erasmus+ Program, Erasmus Mundus for MA students and Jean Monnet for studying the EU advanced experience. NEO Coordinator familiarised the audience with the requirements and innovations of the Call applications, the possibilities of the academic exchange, and other relevant opportunities of the Erasmus+ Call 2022.
