The EU Programme Erasmus+ 2021-2027 supports international projects in education, training, youth and sport. The Programme pays special attention to social integration, participation of young people in democratic life, and transition to green and digital technologies.

Erasmus+ green projects are aimed at finding innovative solutions in the field of ecology and careful approach to natural resources, alternative energy sources and resource-saving innovations “that drives development and peace, aiming to improve the living conditions of all’. The goal of Erasmus+ “green” projects is to increase the environmental sustainability through understanding and disseminating these ideas in higher education.

In the youth development sphere Erasmus+ provides opportunities for student organizations to become the agents of these changes, supports the self-realization and entrepreneurship of young people, and maintains improving the quality and developing of youth policy.

Erasmus+ Programme is managed by the European Commission, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the National Offices in EU Member States and third countries associated to the Programme , and the National Offices in third countries not associated to the Programme .

National Erasmus+ Office in Turkmenistan is responsible for providing information on Erasmus+ Key Actions, assisting higher education institutions in searching partners for project consortia, and coordinating the activity of the Turkmen national team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE).
